If KGCW decides to change our privacy policy, the changes will be posted on our Homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected. Please note that in compliance with the 1998 Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which went into effect in April of 2000, we have determined that until further notice, this site will neither solicit nor receive any personally identifiable information from COPPA protected minors (defined by the law as individuals under the age of 13. USE AND COLLECTION OF INFORMATION FROM THE WEBSITE:

KGCW collects information from our users at several different points on our website and depending upon the features selected and the period in which the site is visited, the following information may be collected:
Registration: In order to use this website, a user may be required to complete a registration form which includes contact information (such as name and e-mail address). This information would only be used to contact the user about the services offered by or through the site. We may also request optional informational (data which is not required to be able to use the service) such as demographic data (such as income level and gender).

Surveys & Contests: From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for news purposes, for monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site, and to measure and gauge reaction to matters of community interest.

As mentioned, KGCW has an established policy against the collection of personal information of children under 13. In the event that KGCW determines that it has received unsolicited information or errant e-mails containing personal information from children under 13, KGCW will promptly delete this information and retain no records or copies whatsoever of the childrens contact. In compliance with COPPA, KGCW may make a one-time response to a minors information request (such as to a request for homework assistance) but in all such cases will promptly delete the personal information after replying to the inquiry.
